Etsy's large banner is a wide 4:1 strip that gets cropped on mobile — keep your shop name and key visuals centered so nothing important disappears.
Etsy's shop banner is the first thing a visitor sees at the top of your shop page — but it's a very wide, short strip, and Etsy crops the sides more aggressively on mobile than on desktop. A banner designed with your shop name and key visuals centered survives that crop cleanly on every device.
Open Squeezr and drop in your banner design.
Turn on Resize, unlock the aspect-ratio lock, and set width and height to 3360 × 840.
Choose Crop mode if your source image isn't already 4:1.
Keep your shop name, tagline and any logo within the central 60% of the width.
Export as JPG at 85% quality and upload it as your shop's large banner.
Skip the manual math — open Squeezr with this preset already dialed in.
Open Squeezr preset to 3360×840 →At 4:1, Etsy's banner spans the full width of a shop page while staying visually unobtrusive — short enough not to push products below the fold. That extreme width is exactly why edge content is risky: a shop name placed near the left or right edge is often the first thing lost when Etsy crops for mobile.
Etsy also offers a smaller mini banner format for simpler shop themes, recommended at 1600×213. If your shop theme uses the compact layout instead of the large hero banner, resize to that size instead using the same Squeezr flow — just enter 1600×213 in place of 3360×840.
